In locations with master key locking systems, such as schools and public institutions, iLOQ provides the benefits of electronic locking of all doors without the need for expensive wiring or frequent battery replacement. The system can be easily expanded into the lightweight and practical iLOQ S5 Online access control system. Selected doors can be equipped with remote-controlled lock rollers, RFID and PIN readers, and time-controlled electronic locks. For example, sports facilities in a school can be scheduled to open at a set time interval by PIN code.

Low lifecycle costs


The iLOQ S5 has low maintenance costs.

It eliminates the need to replace locks, keys or batteries, which is a significant saving for large lock systems where many locks and keys are in use. Reusable digital keys maximise the efficiency of materials used and reduce waste.

The iLOQ is also easy to set up and install, as the lock cylinder is compatible with old and new locks without modifications.

Simple and secure key management

The iLOQ S5 consistently delivers a high level of security, as both locks and keys are fully programmable. Access rights are managed using iLOQ's easy-to-use cloud-based SaaS platform. Lock placement is transparently displayed on the property floor plan. The software shows the access data assigned to each key in real time.

Key management of multiple properties or even a system of thousands of locks can be performed centrally. Access rights are electronically assigned to keys, making the transfer of new keys simple and fast and the management of large numbers of keys (and locks) easy.

Easy to modify

Managing a large and complex system of mechanical locks is labour intensive, costly and often impossible in practice. The locking system must be planned in advance for the entire life cycle of the property. In contrast, iLOQ S5 is flexible and fully adaptable to the use of the facility and the needs of the users. The ability to expand the system into an easy and practical access control system ensures that future needs can be met.

Closure adapts to changes in facilities

If the function or layout of the facilities changes, access rights can be updated quickly and easily. Keys and locks do not need to be changed, only reprogrammed. The iLOQ also allows different access rights to be programmed for the same key, so that anything from doors to cam locks to padlocks can be unlocked, for example. A single iLOQ key replaces a large key ring.
